If you have deliveries through a cellar door you need to ensure you have carried out a risk assessment and that the doors are secured correctly while being used with edge protection. The Slug and Lettuce chain have just been fines 100K as an employee who was preparing to unload a drinks delivery received several broken fingers as the internal cellar door was open and unsecured. Stonegate who are the operators of S&G also had to pay costs £3,792 and also don't forget the employees civil claim for his injury and loss of earnings etc on top ! Do you need a Personal Licence Holder qualification ( APLH )? We offer 3 options giving you the best choice to suit your needs accredited by Highfield's and regulated by HM Government :
1, on line ELearning Course for learning in your own time with exam booked with Tutor (allow an Hour) £110pp
OR
2, 1-1 tutoring at times and dates to suit you £225
OR
3, Group courses at your premises ideal if you have several staff members needing this qualification date and time to suit ( cost on application)
Open public courses resume 2019.
All the above courses are delivered by experienced qualified Environmental Health professionals. The courses include free endorsement of photos and checking of your application for your Personal Licence. Happy new year ! Some if you are aware that Gabi is contracted to a major retailer for the next 9 months therefore there will be no open/ public courses during this time.
